Alessa's Germany Experience, Day 42 - The Zoo
Alessa loves animals. We've been members of the Philadelphia Zoo Alessa's whole life. However, due to the RSD/CRPS, Alessa hasn't been able to go to the Zoo in a few years.
When we first arrived in Saarbruecken, we checked to see if there was a Zoo nearby. When we found out that it was only ten minutes away from our hotel, we were so happy. We promised Alessa that when she woke up from her coma and was feeling up to it, we would take her to the Zoo. Today we were able to fulfill that promise.
