Alessa's Germany Experience, Day 10 - Quiet Visit
Alessa's been in the coma for over 24 hours now. She seems to be resting in a deep sleep. A lot of times when she's sleeping, you can see the pain on her face. You can't see any pain now. She's in the coma deep enough to be away from it.
When we visited her today, we stayed very quiet. We didn't want her to hear our voices and try to wake up. We just stood by her bed and said lots of prayers for her.
She has a tube in her nose and her mouth, an I.V. just above her right clavicle and she's catherized. There are lots of monitors next to her bed. As hard as it is to see all of that, this is what is necessary to make her well.
On a bright note, one of the staff braided her hair and has it resting on her pillow. She's in very good care.

Terri and Steve,
Your doing a great job! It's very apparent from your blog that God is with all of you and your receiving the grace you need to handle all your experiencing. Were praying everyday for you. Soon all of this will just be a memory and Alessa will be well. Love, Bernadette and Lou
